Houston Rockets 100 Charlotte Bobcats 89-Recap

The Houston Rockets were able to overcome a slow start, as they slowly pulled away from the Charlotte Bobcats in the 2nd half en route to a 100-89 win. After missing 7 of their first 8 3-point attempts, the Rockets found their stroke, making 11 of the next 21 treys, and ended up shooting 44 percent(12 for 27) for the game.

James Harden led the way with 31 points, and hit 4 of 7 3-pointers. Dwight Howard returned to the lineup after missing 3 games, and finished with 10 points and 9 rebounds.

Terrence Jones added 18 points and 7 boards, and Chandler Parsons finished with 11 points after being held scoreless until the 3rd quarter. Jeremy Lin added 10 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists in 20 minutes off the bench.

Leading just 54-50 at halftime, Harden exploded for 14 points in the 3rd quarter to push the Rockets lead to 10 points going into the 4th quarter.

But the Bobcats would go on an 8-1 run to cut the Rockets lead to 84-78 with 6 minutes left.

Parsons would then find his shooting stroke, making 2 3-pointers, while Patrick Beverley(who shot just 3 for 10) sank a 3 to put the Rockets up 98-87 with 1 minute left to put the game away.
