Houston Rockets Overcome Double-Digit 4th Quarter Deficit To Beat Pelicans, 111-104

It was time for the Houston Rockets to stop their late season slide, as the true grit and heart of a great team showed in their 111-104 comeback win over the New Orleans Pelicans. Both Dwight Howard and Patrick Beverley came back to the lineup after missing the past 3 weeks, and Beverley would score 14 points in the 4th quarter to help the Rockets overcome a 10 point deficit.

Playing without Chandler Parsons, who injured his back Friday night, Beverley finished with 20 points, 4 assists, and 2 steals altogether, while James Harden led the way with 33 points and 13 assists. Jeremy Lin scored 18 points and recorded 4 steals off the bench, and Howard finished with 13 points and 6 rebounds.

It was a struggle for the first 3 and a half quarters, as the Rockets shot just 25 percent(4 of 16) from the 3-point line, but hit 5 of 11 in the final 7 minutes of the game.

Down 104-96 with just under 5 minutes left, Lin stripped Austin Rivers as he was driving the lane, which led to a Beverley 3-pointer on the other hand. That would help spark a 15-0 run for the Rockets to close out the game.
