Houston Rockets: Daryl Morey Finishes 9th In Executive of the Year

Despite a 54-win season and winning the Dwight Howard free agent sweepstakes last summer, Houston Rockets general manager Daryl Morey finished 9th in the NBA’s Executive of the Year honors.
R.C. Buford of the San Antonio Spurs was named the recipient of the award after receiving 58 total votes. Morey did not get any first-place votes, but received 3 second-place votes and 1 third-place vote.
