Born on August 9th, I know the pain of not being able to celebrate childhood birthdays properly by bringing a tray of your mom’s finest cupcakes to school and receiving a free pass on homework for one glorious day. NBA players with summer birthdays are forced to extend this pain into adulthood.
Less than 24 hours removed from becoming the last point guard standing on the Houston roster, third-year Westbrook-hatin’-and-baitin’ defensive cog Patrick Beverley turns 26 today.
