Rockets To Acquire Jason Terry, Second Round Picks

The JET is on course to Houston!

According to Adrian Wojnarowski, The Houston Rockets and Sacramento Kings have agreed upon a trade that will send Jason Terry and two second round picks to Houston. In return the Kings will receive Alonzo Gee and potentially a few more players with non-guaranteed contracts. Who those players are has not been finalized or disclosed yet.

The Rockets had been searching for a reliable combo guard but seemed to be struggling in doing so. Terry’s productions has declined significantly since winning the NBA’s Sixth Man of the Year Award in 2011. With the Rockets looking to be a contending team in the Western Conference maybe Terry’s will to produce will be higher than previous years. The Rockets backcourt is very shallow and young, a veteran such as Jason Terry could truly make an impact on this roster.

The trade is not officially finalized and there is no time table on when it will be official.
