Houston Rockets Power Rank: Week 14

The one constant this season when it comes to the national media power ranking is they never all agree on the Rockets. That said, two of the lists raised the Rockets back up the ladder and the other two inexplicably dropped them even after they beat inter division rivals Dallas and went on a 4-game win streak.

The National Lists:

In keeping with his penchant for constantly moving the Rockets up and down his list, John Schuhmann of nba.com holds steady by returning them back up the ladder this week by 3 spots into 5th.

The USA Today panel move the Rockets down one spot oddly, given they were on a four game win streak prior to losing in Detroit.

ESPN’s Marc Stein surprisingly moved the Rockets down two spots.

John Hollinger, also of ESPN has dropped the Rockets in his daily rank down to the 8 spot after having them in 7.

Matt Moore of CBS rounds out the national lists raising Houston 2 spots and groups the Texas States all together with the Spurs and Dallas book-ending Houston.
