James Harden: Is Rockets’ Guard Slipping in MVP Race?

The last seven days were not very appealing in numbers and wins for the top Most Valuable Player candidates. During this time frame, it was more a battle of who made the least amount of mistakes.

There wasn’t much “fear of the beard” this week, but Harden still is a high recommendation for MVP. However, there is one nominee who’s beginning to make a strong case for himself.

To that end, I decided to take a look at the top-5 candidates media pundits have cited as the most likely to win the coveted individual honor. I’ve ranked them in the order I feel they would finish if the season ended today.
