Walking Wounded:

  • DeJuan Blair missed Friday’s game for personal reasons (no update on whether he’ll play today, but it’s a good assumption he’ll be available)
  • Garrett Temple is out due to a hamstring injury
  • Kris Humphries Wizards website has him listed as out today with a groin injury

Garrett Temple (hamstring) out at least 2 more weeks

  • Dwight Howard will play in just one of the back to back games the Rockets have, so if he’s in the line-up today expect him to miss Toronto and vice versa
  • Donatas Motiejunas is out with a back injury that will sideline him for 1 to 2 weeks.
  • Patrick Beverley remains out with a torn ligament in his wrist. He is waiting for the swelling to subside so the injury can be further examined to determine if he can play through the injury or if it will require season ending surgery.
  • Terrence Jones  will miss the game due to the partially collapsed lung he suffered  last Thursday. He is progressing well from the injury and should rejoin the team at some point this week for practice.
  • Kostas Papanikolaou remains out, this will be his 17th missed game from his sprained ankle. Apparently McHale updates that Papanikolaou remains 10-days away from a return.

Status note: Dwight Howard (knee) is questionable Sunday. Won’t play B2B’s, so will either sit Sunday or Monday.
