We’re one month away from Patrick Beverley’s 27th birthday.

I don’t have him on speed dial, but I’m pretty sure he’d rather be competing in the 2015 NBA Finals instead of planning a birthday party.

It’s a shame his Houston Rockets couldn’t be in the 2015 NBA Finals competing for a championship. I’m certain he would’ve helped them a lot had he not been out due to injury.

He’s been heralded by experts and his peers as one of the most prolific defenders in the game today.

His numbers are not outstanding when you compare them to his fellow backcourt mate in James Harden, but what he brings to the team is more than just statistics on paper.

Beverley controls the team from start to finish, and of course, that’s what a point guard should do.

As is the case with just about everything, there’s always room for improvement, and Beverley is no exception to this fact.

We’ll get into everything from his season stats, season highlights, what’s in store for him in the future, and what he should work on in the off-season.
