  NBA East Conf Free Agents & Current Status 1PM July 1

As the clock struck midnight this morning arguably the most exciting off season period began with NBA Free Agents holding meetings to determine their futures.

Making this an even more exciting free agent market is the number of quality free agents available and the uncertainty of how the new television contracts (which will escalate salary caps in the coming season) will effect the terms of deals made this summer.

I look at each team by division highlighting which players will be the priority to retain, and I also speculate on which free agents teams may target to upgrade their existing  squads.

This document outlines all 30 Teams free agents and their current status as of noon, July 1st. Stay with Space City Scoop as we keep you posted on signings, offers and confirmed deals. Of note, as I was writing this and inserting tweets, pictures etc. deals happened faster than I could update the copy, so I chose to just provide the most up to date information as it occurred. In other words you’ll see speculation on players teams need to retain and then tweets confirming they did. I figured it was better to bring you up to date news and give in to the frenzy of free agent news than keep editing copy. …
