NBA Free Agency Update – Central Division
SIGNED: G/F: Jimmy Butler received a $90 million 5 year deal on the first day of NBA Free Agency. In one of the most economical deals the Bulls also locked up F: Mike Dunleavy to a 3 year bargain deal of $14 million.
PLAYER OPTION USED: G: Kirk Hinrich exercised his player option
UNDECIDED: G: Aaron Brooks, , C: Nazr Mohammed
WHAT’S NEXT: Depending on what Brooks decides and whether the Bulls feel Hinrich is enough they’ll likely want to add some point guard depth. Overall Chicago has a pretty deep team, so locking down Butler and Dunleavy was the focus.
