Of course the greatest player in Rockets history made this list, Hakeem “The Dream” Olajuwon jammed it on anybody that was willing to challenge him. Olajuwon has famous dunks on some of the best centers in the game including Patrick Ewing and David Robinson.
Olajuwon was graceful with his “Dream Shake” turn-around shot, but was relentless when he was gearing up to block or slam on his opponents. At 7’0 feet tall, lanky and lean, he was able to adjust around defenders and jam it from anywhere in the paint.
“The Dream” is revered as one of the top centers in NBA history thanks to his attitude and ability to play the game after starting at such a late age. Luckily his dunking ability was able to flourish at the University of Houston where the basketball team earned the fraternity nickname, “Phi Slamma Jamma.”
Olajuwon will forever be one of the best dunking centers of all-time.
