Christmas Day:

Again this year Christmas day features 5 games starting at noon and running until the last game tips off at 10:30. There are many of the typical teams we’ve become accustomed to seeing, but the first game features rising start Anthony Davis and his up and coming Pelicans.

Noon – New Orleans Pelicans at Miami Heat

2:30 PM – Chicago Bulls at Oklahoma City Thunder

5:00 PM – Cleveland Cavaliers at Golden State Warriors

8:00 PM – San Antonio Spurs at Houston Rockets

10:30 PM – L.A. Clippers at L.A Lakers

While we can be thrilled our Rockets are playing I have to admit I’m a little upset once again we see both Los Angeles teams playing. Why not showcase some of the up and coming talent like the Jazz or the Timberwolves? It’s understandable last season’s finalists are playing and with Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook returning to OKC that also makes sense. Yet the only young team added to the mix this season is New Orleans.
