Returning Rockets

And for our Rockets there will be a several key games of interest with previous players returning:

Obviously all the Nuggets games this season hold extra intrigue with the first scheduled in Houston on the home opener October 28th.

The question is will Ty Lawson face any type of suspension given he incurred his second D.U.I. in less than 6 months just prior to joining the Rockets.

Regardless, this game also features the return of Harden and Howard’s teammates from last season: Nick Johnson, Joey Dorsey, and Kostas Papanikolaou (notably Pablo Prigioni was part of the trade but Denver waived him).

Should Lawson miss the first meeting he’ll have 2 more chances to play his old team:

  • November 13th (his first visit back to Denver)
  • December 14th again in Denver

The other game holding extra interest features the return of Josh Smith as a Clipper to Houston on December 19th and March 16th. While the teams meet in Los Angeles on November 7th and January 18th.

You can be guaranteed the Clippers will be dialed in for each for these 4 games given the embarrassment with which they lost games 6 and 7.
