Let’s not kid ourselves the big move and perhaps the only move that mattered for the Bulls this off season was re-inking Jimmy Butler. Whether reports are true that Butler and Derrick Rose had issues is moot. Now they have a new coach who’ll likely take a less aggressive tact in practices to save their bodies.
The Bulls already had depth now it’s up to Fred Hoiberg to utilize those young bodies of Doug McDermott, Tony Snell and rookie Bobby Portis. Also look for Joakim Noah to have a rebound season after toiling last year trying to recover from over use and an off season surgery.
