A team on the rise in the East is the Orlando Magic who have youthful talent aplenty and with new head coach Scott Skiles will look to this season to improve defensively. With a number of players who are on the precipice of breaking through this season should see the Magic making a leap out of the basement and competing for a low playoff seed. The preseason will be an opportunity for fans to see how much they’ve improved those defensive efforts especially facing strong squads like Miami, Houston and Memphis while also playing historically strong defensive squads in Indy and Charlotte.
