Is there any team in the Association with more questions surrounding them than the Kings? Personally, I feel like DeMarcus Cousins doesn’t get his due given his stats and capability.

There isn’t a big man in the league who can put up double-doubles, defend both strong paint players and versatile quick stretch bigs and also lead a break. With apologies to Anthony Davis who is growing into that player he isn’t there yet.

I feel he’s invested in the Kings yet they haven’t treated him like the franchise star that he is. The team began to clear hurdles last season behind coach Mike Malone’s defensive strategy with the team coming out of the gate strong only to suffer repeated losses when Cousins suffered a bout of meningitis.

The worst was just as Cousins was prepared to return the Kings fired Malone which had many involved in the sport shaking their heads. Now with George Karl on staff he appears to have picked up his old habit of not getting along with the team’s star.

The 6 preseason games for the Kings are worth a watch just to see what the interaction between Cousins and Karl will be.
