2015-2016 Outlook

It’s unfortunate that DeMo’s back injury kept him from taking part in the Rockets journey to the Western Conference Finals. At the moment it’s still unclear when and how the Lithuanian will come back as his rehabilitation period was extended and his presence in the season opener against the Nuggets remains uncertain.

So, although DeMo’s development has taken a break, it’s still too soon to determine whether he’s reached his full potential. For 2015-2016 Motiejunas must continue to persevere and consider improvements on the defensive end notably in the rebounding department.

I’m of the opinion that Motiejunas might turn out to be an essential piece for the Rockets pursuit of the title as the team’s starting power forward. For that to happen he must continue to work hard and focus his skills in what he does best: his amazing post-up moves and stretching the court.

What do you think of Motiejunas’ ascendancy and expectations for this season? Make sure to hit the comments section and tell us.  Also take a moment, check out the other SCS player profiles and the Round Table Series the SCS prepared.
