2014-2015 Accomplishments
Regular Season: NBA D-League
- 16 points per game
- 3 blocks per game
- 9.7 rebounds
Postseason: Houston Rockets
- 3.4 points per game
- 0.5 blocks per game
- 2.5 rebounds per game
As is the case with most Rockets rookies, Capela spent most of his time in the Rio Grande Valley with the Rockets NBA D-League squad. Being called back to the Rockets at the start of the playoffs, Capela ended up playing more postseason games (17) than regular season games (12) with the team.
Though his numbers seem to be below average, he only played about 8 minutes per game. To put things in perspective, Capela averaged 16.2 points, 11.9 rebounds, and 2.6 blocks per 36 minutes. Because he played so few minutes, his numbers do not show his actual impact.
Oh yeah, he also did things like this.
