Kevin McHale must be very happy these days. It’s been two very eventful weeks as the Houston Rockets managed to bounce back after losing -and playing poorly- in their first three games prior to bouncing back.
Now finally the team has a positive record (4-3) registering wins against perennial contenders like the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Los Angeles Clippers.
But the good news just keep on coming as Clutch City has only one sidelined player out of action (Donatas Motiejunas). Terrence Jones could and should be back on the lineup on Wednesday after recovering from a lacerated eyelid.

In both cases this news come as a relief for Houston’s defensive system that has been struggling allowing the opposition to score an average 108 points per game. The injuries also forcibly permitted the blossoming of Marcus Thornton and Clint Capela who got to play quality minutes and produced.

Kevin McHale also jokingly said Beverley had his brain re-scrambled resembling a computer reboot.
McHale is now presented with a much lighter headache in finding minutes for last season starters. Whether they coming off the bench or start both players will surely improve the team’s rotation offering depth and increase the number of consistent performers the team can bring to the court.
