For the 4th year in a row, the Houston Rockets will be hosting a Houston-area Dog Walk, this year it will benefit the Memorial Hermann Conservancy.
On Saturday March 5th, all dogs and owners will make the beautiful walk around Hermann Park passing McGovern Lake, the Jones Reflection Pool and finishing at Lake Plaza. The walk will begin at 8am and will shut down after all walkers have finished the mile.
There will be an after party post-walk at Lake Plaza where everyone can continue mingling with the other Rockets fans. Make sure your dog, and possibly yourself, gets a bath and some rest before the 5th because it will be a long, fun day in the sun!
It is $35 for one owner and one dog, entry also includes a giveaway goodie bag, a doggie bandana, a Dog Walk t-shirt for the owner and a single ticket to one of the following games:
- March 14th vs Memphis Grizzlies
- March 23rd vs Utah Jazz
- April 7th vs Phoenix Suns

If the gorgeous scenery wasn’t enough, knowing your entry fee is going to a good cause makes it that much better. There has been a lot of work done to the Conservancy over the years, but keeping it up-to-date, clean and restored will make all Houstonians proud of the best green area in the city.
