The Houston Rockets are engaged in negotiations with the Utah Jazz that would send Rockets point guard Ty Lawson to Utah.
Having heard that the Jazz are searching for a veteran point guard, the Rockets figure it’s a suitable time to part ways with Lawson. In order for the deal to work, however, the Jazz will have to include another player so that salaries will match.
Utah, meanwhile, has made Trey Burke available, but at least one more player must be added if talks progress because salaries aren't close

Lawson has had a disappointing season with the Rockets, averaging career lows of 6 points and 3 assists.
While most eyes will be on Dwight Howard, keep your attention on Ty Lawson as the trade deadline is less than a day away.
