Houston Rockets should try to pry away point guard Mike Conley from the Memphis Grizzlies.

With news breaking that the Memphis Grizzlies front office is worried about Mike Conley leaving during free agency, the Houston Rockets should make a hard push to acquire the veteran point guard.

Conley would be a great fit for the Rockets. As much as Patrick Beverley is appreciated in Houston, the Rockets would benefit from an upgrade at the point guard position.

Conley is capable of creating his own offense in addition to being able to play great defense and knock down the three. The greatest upside to Conley’s game is that he is able to succeed while playing with or without the ball so he would be a good fit alongside superstar James Harden.

Conley also has some history with Rockets new assistant coach Jeff Bzdelik, so we will see if that can help at all in landing the free agent guard.

With Dwight Howard likely leaving Houston, the Rockets will do their best to upgrade their roster.
