With hours until free agency is officially open Dwight Howard has set his first two meetings with interested parties.

As arguably the most exciting part of the season begins the most notable Houston Rockets free agent has begun his process in earnest.  Howard has reportedly already scheduled meetings with the Boston Celtics (much to their chagrin) and the Atlanta Hawks.

Atlanta make sense as it’s where he is from and with Al Horford reportedly looking at possibly joining Kevin Durant in OKC should he stay, it makes sense.

Howard is reportedly asking for $24 million a year and a full term.

No word yet on whether there are any plans for him to meet with his existing team. Although that’s not a big surprise given both sides seem ready to part with one another.
