Houston Rockets beat Kings in Vegas 85-73

In their second game in Vegas Summer League the Houston Rockets dispensed of the Sacramento Kings 85-73.

A strong second half allowed the Houston Rockets summer league squad to even their record in Las Vegas as they went on to beat the Sacramento Kings.

The Rockets delivered a 16-0 run late in the third quarter to grab a significant lead and never looked back. While Houston was outplayed in their opener they turned the tide in their second game winning almost every major stat.

Specifically they pounced on the Kings in transition taking a 20-9 edge in fast break points and killed them on the boards 47-39 and 12- on the offensive boards.

Once again Sam Dekker put on a strong display leading the team with 19 points and adding 7 rebounds.

Existing Rockets notched the other impressive performances as Montrezl Harrell posted14 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists.  And K.J. McDaniels showcased his box score stat filling capability with 10 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals and 3 blocks. (were the other standouts.

Of the rookies Kyle Wiltjer once again led the way with 11 points and 6 rebounds.
