Houston Rockets Josh Smith 2016 Highlight Reel

Josh Smith remains unsigned in free agency, and doesn’t appear likely to return given the Houston Rockets have just one roster spot open.
Looking back at his tenure with the Houston Rockets, Josh Smith second go round was less successful than his first appearance.
Considering how well Smith and Dwight Howard bonded on and off the court the exit of Howard likely spelled the end of J-Smoove’s time as a Rocket.
Let’s revisit his highlights from 2015-16 with the Rockets:
In 23 regular season games with the Rockets Smith’s best game came versus the Miami Heat when he scored 19 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals and a block.
His other stand out game came versus the Dallas Mavericks when he scored 16 points, and filled up the stat sheet with 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks:
While Smith remains unsigned in free agency there are those who believe he still possesses the ability to change a game. His weaknesses revolve around his desire to shoot the 3 ball when the reality is his strengths are in his passing skills and work close to the basket.
Having said that, no one in H-Town will ever forget the aforementioned Game 6 in L.A. when he led the Rockets back from a 19 point deficit to reclaim the momentum in the Western Conference Semi Finals:
For that game alone, Clutch City will be forever grateful for the time Josh Smith spent in a Rockets jersey:
