Sam Dekker was mired by injury last season appearing in only 3 games. SCS looks back at those games to highlight his production.

With Sam Dekker only reaching the NBA court on 3 occasions last season there weren’t any highlights to offer from the varsity squad.

That said Dekker did produce some solid efforts in his 9 appearances with the Rockets D-League Affiliate  the Rio Grande Valley Vipers.

In one such outing he posted 16 points versus the Legends:

He replicated that output versus the Bayhawks:

Dekker seemingly found his favorite team to play posting 13 points against the Legends in a second meeting:

Based on his performance in Summer League Sam Dekker stands to get regular rotation minutes this coming season. The fact he’s showcasing the ability to hit three’s and also drive the paint he stands to be someone Mike D’Antoni will love to incorporate into his system.
