The Houston Rockets officially signed Pablo Prigioni with the club.

In his second stint with the Houston Rockets, Pablo Prigioni is thrilled to be back. After playing 24 games in the 2014-15 season with the Rockets Prigioni moved on in free agency to the Los Angeles Clippers.

Last season with the Clippers Prigioni appeared in 59 games registering 2.5 points, 1.9 rebounds,  2.2 assists, 0.9 steals  and shot 37.4% from the field in 13.9 minutes per game.

Prigioni will find himself deep on the bench behind Patrick Beverley and Eric Gordon at the point guard position. That said, with the departure of Jason “The Jet Terry” he’ll no doubt find some serviceable time on the floor.

Certainly Daryl Morey is excited to welcome him back as his tweet so clearly showcased:

Welcome to the Rockets @PPrigioni9 – who can forget Pablo in game 7! https://t.co/cUKB5fiAEy

And the man himself tweeted out his delight to return to H-Town:
