This offseason will be a huge one for the Houston Rockets.
What is going on in Houston? After a huge trade this morning that sent Chris Paul to the Rockets, Daryl Morey is back at it again. The team is determined to become better than the Golden State Warriors and their super team. It is now reported that the Houston Rockets are determined to acquire Paul George and/or Carmelo Anthony. If these acquisitions occur, then this day could be a historical one for the Rockets.

Daryl Morey is pulling off the moves today and the Rockets are lucky to have such an active GM. After being snubbed from winning Executive of the Year a couple nights ago, he goes and trades for Chris Paul and possibly more. A trade for Paul George would be difficult to pull off right now, but Morey can do it. Signing Carmelo Anthony off a potential buyout would be interesting, too. And is Dwyane Wade interested in Houston as well?
If Carmelo Anthony or Dwyane Wade get their buyout, Houston is likely one one of teams on their short list.

I am not sure how well Wade would fit in Houston, but it is exciting to think about nonetheless.

Other Minor Moves
The Rockets have also made some smaller moves in order to be in the necessary cap space. They have received Dallas player DeAndre Liggins and Portland player Tim Quarterman. These moves were necessary in order to stay above the cap. While neither player may make the final roster, it is still nice to see some moves made.
