James Harden is at it again with the Pro-Am games, this time he has a friend with him.
We have officially reached the dull part of the summer, Red Nation. The part where you are dying to see something between the Summer League and Training Camp. Well thankfully, James Harden is big on playing in different leagues during the offseason. This time, he teamed up with John Wall in the Miami Pro League.
The duo stole the show, of course. They showed off their skills as Harden got to share the floor with another elite point guard. The more practice he gets with a secondary ball handler, the better for him and the Rockets.
Unfortunately, Harden and Wall’s team did not win their game. However, leagues in the summer are all about improving and staying fit for NBA players. Harden had quite a few highlight plays and made Rockets fans everywhere wish it was the regular season already.
Let’s take a look at the video from Ball is Life:
The two players showed out in front of a great crowd, including up and coming star for the Heat Hassan Whiteside. This game is now the third that James Harden has played this summer, with the previous two coming in the Drew League. Those two games in Los Angeles saw the Beard drop 25 and 27 points, respectively.
In the second game, he got to play with his teammate Chris Paul. They seem to be meshing well this offseason and Paul dropped 13 points and 10 assists during that game.
We will have to see if Harden or Paul play in any more games this summer. If they do, we will be sure to update you on Space City Scoop!
