After having a career season last year, James Harden will attempt to play even better this year. Here are 5 goals for James Harden’s 2017-18 season.
The NBA preseason has started, which means the NBA offseason is but a memory. James Harden and the Houston Rockets will face the new look Oklahoma City Thunder in their first game of the preseason on Oct. 3. This game will give us a glimpse of how Chris Paul and James Harden will fare against one of the league’s best teams.
Last year, Harden had one of the best offensive seasons in NBA history. He finished second in the league in points per game (29.1) led the NBA in assists (11.2) and placed third among guards in rebounds (8.1). James also led the league in free throws made per game (9.2) and finished fourth for most 3-pointers made (3.2), proving that he can score effectively in the paint and out on the perimeter.
Having CP3 in the backcourt will even out some of the playmaking responsibilities in the Rockets offense and Harden will play off of the ball a lot more. With that in mind, let’s check out the five goals for James Harden in the 2017-18 season.
