Harden remembered how the shoot

James Harden, like the rest of the team, had a second half to forget. However, his first-half shooting was a very encouraging sign going into Game 7.

The Beard had missed 20 consecutive 3s going into Game 6 and started out 0/2 in this game. However, he shrugged that off and managed to hit 4 shots from deep total. He even hit a 30-foot shot that looked well out of anyone’s range (except maybe a couple of Warriors players):

It was very nice to see Harden start to get a feel for his shot again in this game. He struggled big time in Game 5 despite the win and needed to see a few shots go down.

If he can carry some confidence into Game 7, that would be huge. The Rockets cannot win another game with him going 0/11 from 3, not with the way the Warriors should play in a do or die situation.

If his step-back 3 is hitting and he’s getting bigs (or Steph) switched onto him, the Beard is absolutely unstoppable. I’d love to see more of that as the Rockets attempt to do the impossible and take down one of the best teams ever assembled.
