Free agency for the Rockets is fast approaching and they could certainly use some more bench depth at the guard position.

The Houston Rockets are in the offseason after losing in seven hard-fought games to the Golden State Warriors. Now as free agency approaches, the team is looking for a way to take down the monster that is the Warriors.

During the playoffs, bench depth definitely became an issue for the team. Luc Mbah a Moute was playing hurt and several other normal contributors were not doing as much.

With that in mind, the Rockets should explore the market for veteran bench guards. That added depth could really come in handy when the playoffs approach, especially with the injury history of Chris Paul.

Today, we’ll look at a few veteran free agent guards that could fit that mold and help contribute to the team. Let’s begin, shall we?
