The Rockets can still compete with the Warriors

The Warriors certainly got better, to say the least. They added All-Star big man DeMarcus Cousins to fill their biggest hole at the center position. He is currently hurt with a very devastating injury to NBA players, especially ones at his position. Cousins has all the time in the world to recover, as the Warriors don’t even need him.

I will likely be talking more in depth about this in another article, but I believe that, if the cards fall right, the Rockets can still compete with the Warriors. Cousins is a fantastic addition by Golden State, but one of their main strengths is their small ball. Now, they have to go big and Cousins will have to guard a perimeter player when he switches onto them on defense.

Oh yeah, and the Rockets still have Chris Paul and James Harden. You know, those two future Hall of Famers. They will be entering their second season together after showing incredible chemistry in their first. They are only going to improve as a duo.

Next. Clint Capela's role with the Rockets shouldn't be understated

Five All-Stars is not going to be fun to go up against, and the odds are against the Rockets, but I believe in them and they certainly are not as worse off as people are saying.
