1. Increase Clint Capela’s role

Clint Capela agreed to return to the Rockets on a new $90 million dollar contract this off-season and has demonstrated improvement in each season with the team.

It is well documented how Clint Capela has worked out with Hakeem Olajuwon and John Lucas II to improve his game, and it would benefit the Rockets to see how good of an offensive player Capela can become.

Now giving the ball to Capela in the post every possession will probably not lead the Rockets to success, but making sure that Capela gets more involved on offense could.

Giving the ball to Capela at the top of the key and allowing him to make decisions will not only help him develop and learn more, but he has demonstrated in the past that he is capable of making smart decisions.

Capela is good at making passes to the weak side corner for open threes, and has even shown off his euro step on occasion.

Next. 3 wings the Houston Rockets can trade for next season

The more of a threat that Clint Capela can become on offense, the more difficult it will become for other teams to find a weak spot when trying to defend the Rockets.
