3 Houston Rockets will report to Team USA training camp

The Houston Rockets will have multiple representatives as Team USA begins its training camp here in a few months. Who will likely make the final cut for the squad?
The Houston Rockets are in store for yet another busy summer. Part of the busyness will come with the offseason moves the team is looking to make while there are some fun ones, like the Rockets having three representatives for the Team USA training camp that will take place in early August.
James Harden is the obvious main piece from the Rockets that will be in attendance and will make the final cut for the Team USA roster. The other two from the team that will be at training camp are Eric Gordon and P.J. Tucker.

P.J. Tucker is the kind of guy that you always love to have on the floor. In a team that is full of superstars, Team USA could use Tucker to do the stuff that doesn’t show up in the boxscores, always. He likely won’t make the final roster, but you never know! Kenneth Faried made a team one year in 2014.
Eric Gordon could provide the team with some great shooting. EG normally brings some extra-long range shooting, so the shorter international 3-point line might be a bit of a relief for him. He’ll have the opportunity to work his way onto the team but, like Tucker, it’ll likely be a long shot.
Trade rumors
This is an interesting announcement for the Rockets right now as they are expected to trade one of Gordon, Tucker and Clint Capela. It would be a little bit awkward if the current Rockets are at training camp with someone traded recently.
Next. 3 teams that could make a move for Capela
The Rockets have also been rumored to be looking for extensions with Gordon and Tucker, so maybe both of them will be on the squad next season. We’ll have to wait and see for early August, but congrats on those three for being named to the initial team!
