Houston Rockets forward P.J. Tucker is preparing to enter into his third season with the team. Here are three goals for Tucker in the 2019-20 season.

P.J. Tucker was such an important pick up for the Houston Rockets back in 2017. He can play either forward position and even slide down to center in a small-ball lineup, and he is an absolutely deadly corner 3-point shooter.

Perhaps one of Tucker’s most underrated abilities is his availability. In two full seasons with the Rockets, Tucker has never missed a single game in the regular season or playoffs. The Rockets can count on him night in and night out to not only be healthy enough to play but to give 100 percent of his effort in every second that he’s on the court.

Tucker is signed with the Rockets through the 2020-21 season, although the last year of his deal is only partially guaranteed. Recently, Tucker publicly expressed his desire to sign an extension with Houston. It makes a lot of sense for Tucker to want to get a deal done this summer. At 34 years of age, this could be the last lucrative deal he signs in his career.

With the contract stuff aside, the Rockets are in a position to compete for a championship this year and Tucker will no doubt play a big role in their quest. Here are three goals for P.J. Tucker in the 2019-20 season.
