In an appearance on ESPN’s First Take, Houston Rockets owner Tilman Fertitta touched on a number of topics, including his high expectations for this season.

In recent weeks, Houston Rockets owner Tilman Fertitta has done a lot of interviews in an effort to market his new book, “Shut Up and Listen! Hard Business Truths That Will Help You Succeed.”

While the billionaire’s business book is filled with great lessons on how to win in business, the sports world is more interested in hearing his thoughts on the Rockets and the upcoming season.

Tilman Feritta had quite a lot to say in his interview on ESPN’s First Take. He touched on Mike D’Anonti, the dynamic between Russell Westbrook and James Harden and his leadership style to name a few. You can watch the entire interview with Stephen A. Smith, Max Kellerman and Molly Qerim below.

Because Fertitta talked about so many different topics, we’ll be covering the interview in two articles. Here, we’ll take a look at Fertitta’s quotes on his ownership style, Mike D’Antoni’s contract situation and his expectations for the Rockets in the 2019-20 season and expand on those thoughts.
