2. Lead the team in 3-point percentage

Clemons clearly has range, as he can shoot from essentially wherever he is standing at. During the Summer League, Clemons shot 43.6 percent from deep, which would have led the Rockets last season and would likely lead the Rockets this season.

During the preseason, however, Clemons shot only 33.45 percent from deep, so that will obviously need to be better during the season in order for him to lead the Rockets in 3-point shooting. Clemons shot 36.3 percent from beyond the arc during his college career at Campbell University and took 53 percent of his shots from deep during his college career.

To that point, it shouldn’t go overlooked that Clemons is one of the most decorated scorers in NCAA history, as he led the country in total points scored and finished no worse than eighth in the country in total scoring in each of the last three years.

Clemons will certainly need to shoot 41 percent or better to lead the team in 3-point shooting and he has the range to do so. The Rockets will give Clemons the green light to fire away from deep, as they have finished first in the NBA in both 3-point field goals and 3-point attempts in each of the last three years.
