The LA Clippers are looking to tie the season series with the Houston Rockets as they host James Harden and company at the Staples Center Friday.

A second clash between two of the top teams in the Western Conference will be taking place on national TV on Friday night. The LA Clippers will play host to the Houston Rockets live on ESPN as they look to avenge their previous 102-93 loss in Houston on Nov. 13.

After winning an impressive eight straight games, the Rockets were finally defeated 105-95 in Denver in a game that saw them give up 60 points in the paint to Nikola Jokic and crew. They will need to do a much better job containing the inside with Kawhi Leonard and a now-healthy Paul George being eager for revenge.

The Clippers go into the matchup winners of three straight, squeezing out a nailbiting 107-104 victory over the Boston Celtics on Wednesday.

In the last meeting between the two teams, James Harden scored 47 points on 12-of-26 shooting and 16-of-17 from the free-throw line. This time around, LA will have three tremendous defenders in George, Leonard and Patrick Beverley available to pester the superstar and his backcourt teammate Russell Westbrook.

This showdown will be a must-see on Friday night. Here’s everything you need to know about the game:
