Jalen Green has shown he’s next up, taking the basketball world by storm and bringing the Houston Rockets along with him. It could be co-starring in commercials with Giannis Antetekoumpo, Jason Tatum, Joel Embiid, and WNBA star Candace Parker, or his acrobatic play on the court. Green has shown he is a superstar in the making. The Fresno native has quickly emerged as one of the most electrifying talents in the NBA.

How Jalen Green shut down the haters

When reporters asked about what he learned in his rookie season, he replied, “I’m a bucket.” The comment had some fans outside of Houston critical of his remarks since it served as adequate clickbait throughout the summer.

But guess what? He was right! Green capped off his rookie season with a 41-point explosion against the Atlanta Hawks. This came after gaining national notoriety for a barrage of 30-point performances late last season. Scoring the basketball comes naturally for Jalen, and in year two, he’s added much more to his game.

Fast forward to year two, Jalen Green is all about hard work and dedication to his craft. His offseason preparation has been paying off tremendously on both ends of the floor. Setting a standard for all players wearing a Rockets jersey moving forward. The passion and energy he plays with is contagious.
