Michael Jordan showed campers at his Flight School in California, and the rest of us, that he can still get some legitimate air. Granted, the youngster in the picture may not have been prepared to play lockdown defense, but still, Jordan is 50. The amazement at a 50 year old dunking a basketball is shocking to only those that have never dunked a basketball, and especially won’t do it when they are 50. Michael Jordan is an extremely gifted athlete that should be able to dunk as long as his legs work.

“This still happens,” was the message posted alongside the photo on the camp’s Twitter account.

Meanwhile another 50 year old, Hakeem Olajuwon is busy training current NBA All-Stars on how to improve their game. No big media hoopla, just Hakeem showing Carmelo Anthony, LeBron James, Amar’e Stoudemire, Greg Monroe, Andre Drummond, and Kobe Bryant post moves. Not only does Olajuwon DUNK, he also shows incredible footwork, and quickness for a 50-year old. Olajuwon was also key in the pitch to get Dwight Howard to Houston, who is Jordan convincing to play with his Charlotte Bobcats? Al Jefferson?

Here is Hakeem showing he still has it at 50:
