NBA Power Ranking Lists: How Pundits Rank Houston Rockets Week 16
By Tamberlyn Richardson
Where National Pundits place Houston Rockets on NBA Power Ranking Lists week 16
Week 16 of the 2015-16 season is in the books and with that the new NBA Power Ranking Lists are out, so lets take a look at where the Houston Rockets were ranked.
In Week 16 the Houston Rockets suffered losses to both the Warriors and again to the Blazers just 5 days after their last loss to them. The loss dropped the Rockets out of the playoff seeds and vaulted the Blazers into their seeding. Next week the team will have no games as they enter the All-Star Break. The first game they’ll play when they return is in Phoenix on Friday, February 19th.
Lets see where the pundits rank the Rockets in week 16:
Pundits Lists:
John Schuhmann of nba.com nice to know I wasn’t the only one calling for Donatas Motiejunas’ return and how pivotal a role he’d played last season. I’m still holding out hope D-Mo is interested in the land North of the border and will continue to hope Masai Ujiri can tempt him to come to Toronto this summer during free agency at a decent price. The fact he plays on the same National team as Jonas Valanciunas could make for an intriguing carrot, but I digress. As it was Harden sang D-Mo’s praises at his All-Star interview. Wonder how he’s feeling now that he’s a Piston! Full week 16 list
Matt Moore of CBS Moore has been one of the more enthusiastic Rockets cheerleaders. Well apparently he’s had it and punishes the Rockets by plummeting them 5 spots to 23. Complete list.
Marc Stein ESPN Stein drops the Rockets 3 spots citing the issues with the teams chemistry . Full List.
Jeremy Woo of Sports Illustrated Drops the Rockets 1 spots. His full list is here.
