With Game 3 of the NBA Finals tipping off last evening much of twiter focused on it, however the Houston Rockets and their players were still active on social media.

Filling in the rest of D’Antoni’s Coaching Staff

Rex Kalamian was a target of the Rockets to fill in one of Mike D’Antoni’s assistant coaching positions. In the end he chose to turn down both Houston and Washington to rejoin his former head coach Scott Brooks. Marc Stein tweets there is a new candidate on the horizon to fill the position:

Among the candidates Houston is pursuing for Mike D'Antoni's bench after failing to pry Rex Kalamian out of Toronto: Vet coach Johnny Davis

Off Season Activity

With free agency on the horizon the big prize of the summer is Kevin Durant who’s every move is bound to be monitored. That said, the fact he’s hanging out with James Harden already has Houston fans keeping a keen eye on their friendship and the potential for what that could mean for the team:

Both players may end up on the USA National Team headed to the Rio Olympics and Calvin Watkins tweet advises the USA Basketball and medical officials have begun getting the players prepped:

NBA Finals Game 3

During game 3 of the finals Rockets Montrezl Harrell was active on twitter commenting on the plays:

The biggest problem LeBron had and has in Cleveland is this…..no Dwyane Wade.

The Cavaliers came out playing more aggressive and physical, however many fans (at least those not in Cleveland) were questioning the discrepancy of the whistle.

Of course with the Cavaliers taking Game 3 now the narrative that has been ripping LeBron and company to shreds inevitably begins pointing fingers at the Warriors and Steph Curry in particular:
