There’s more Beverley-related NBA drama.

More and more news is surfacing each hour today in the NBA offseason world. Dwight Howard is on his way to the Charlotte Hornets. Deangelo Russell is going to Brooklyn for Brook Lopez. Rumors and tweets are flying everywhere as the madness that is the NBA summer continues. Included in the madness are some cryptic tweets from Patrick Beverley that don’t show any hope for his future in Houston.

First off, Bev replied to a fan who said that Pat was not going anywhere.

Naw I wouldn't say that!!! https://t.co/EDuWRs9b7y

Next, Beverley replied to a Chicago fan who said he should come home.

I know right. That would be dope. https://t.co/CjqpACYX2o

After this tweet, teammate Sam Dekker had to chip in and say something.

Chill

— Sam Dekker (@dekker) June 21, 2017

We agree, Sam. It’s sad to see Beverley so upset with the franchise at this moment. He was the heart and soul of the team throughout the year and especially in the playoffs. Pat ended his tweeting spree by retweeting another fan.

Fam, he deserves the money he wants. But I don't want to see him leave.

This retweet leads me to believe that Beverley may have approached the front office and asked for an extension. Unfortunately, the Rockets cannot really afford to extend Beverley for more money right now if the team wants to sign more stars. Hopefully, Beverley can chill out a bit on social media and resolve the issues. If not, we may see Beverley in another team’s jersey.

Update 6/21:

Beverley is back at it again with the tweeting. And this time, Lou has joined in.

Uh Oh lol

— Lou Williams (@TeamLou23) June 21, 2017

This response is due to Lou being put on the trade block along with Beverley and Anderson. To the Lou tweet, Pat responded:

Lol. https://t.co/XzO6Os0w0W

We’ll update this post if Pat tweets anything else. Until then, follow us on Twitter and like us on Facebook to stay up to date with the latest Rockets free agency and draft news.
