Previous rumors are coming to fruition for the Houston Rockets.

First off, the Rockets are going to pursue four big name free agents this offseason. These players are Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, Paul Millsap, and Kyle Lowry. It was already official that Chris Paul would be pursued by Houston, but the other three were just speculation until now. Marc Stein confirmed that these players are

An intriguing player named is former Rocket, Kyle Lowry. His previous time in Houston did not end well as he clashed with former head coach Kevin McHale. Hopefully, the bad feelings are behind him and he could be the point guard the Rockets need. Also, reuniting CP3 and Blake in Houston would be an interesting fit with James Harden. It is safe to say that Daryl Morey does have something up his sleeve with his pursuit of these players.

Player on the Block

The next rumor that was confirmed today by Marc Stein as well. It involves the players that the Rockets have put on the trading block in order to clear cap space.

Free Agency Scuttle: Houston is making Ryan Anderson/Lou Williams/Patrick Beverley available via trade to create summer spending flexibility

Unfortunately, the Rockets will have to lose key members to last year’s team in order to improve. Ryan Anderson and his giant contract for sure need to be traded, and Patrick Beverley and Lou Williams also should be looked to be dealt. Beverley is a hard player to trade as he is a fan favorite, but the Rockets cannot extend his contract which is likely what Pat wants. Whatever happens, it will be a fun month of July to be a Rockets fan.

The Rockets like all those players, but it was also clear in GM Daryl Morey's recent visit with @ZachLowe_NBA that Houston has big plans.
