The Houston Rockets won their third game in a row in a 125-95 blowout win over the Denver Nuggets! Here are the player grades for the game.

The Houston Rockets (14-4) embarrassed the Denver Nuggets (10-8) in a 125-95 blowout. Since the Warriors lost in Oklahoma City, the Rockets now have sole ownership of the first spot in the Western Conference.

There seemed to be an invisible lid on the bucket to start the game, as the Rockets missed their first 6 shots over a three-minute span. Chris Paul had an amazing behind the back dribble to freeze Nikola Jokic and nail a jumper to put Houston on the board, and the Rockets launched a major run. The Rockets scored 36 points in the first quarter followed by 39 in the second, and the Nuggets turned into a distant memory by halftime. After missing their first six shots of the game, Houston missed just six shots for the rest of the first half.

The Rockets, without Ryan Anderson and Eric Gordon, absolutely dominated Denver offensively and defensively over the entire game. The Rockets gave up just 95 points, and they certainly have the talent to finish the season as a top five defense.

The Rockets had a pretty balanced scoring attack on Wednesday night. With that being said, let’s get into the player grades.
