The Rockets finally know who they’ll be playing when this year as the NBA schedule has been released.

A few days ago, some of the marquee matchups of the NBA season were revealed. The Rockets are participating in most big events, such as Christmas Day and MLK Day along with Opening Week games.

Getting that little bit of information left the community wanting more. Thankfully, now we have it! The full Rockets schedule for the upcoming 2018-19 season has finally been released by the NBA just moments ago.

The Rockets have a ton of fun and exciting matchups which we will talk about in other posts for sure. Let’s take a look at the full schedule and the national TV opportunities that the team will have this season.

The Rockets will start their season with a pretty tough opening month. They will play six games in October, all against playoff-worthy teams.

That should be an interesting start to the year! It will be fun to be a part of LeBron’s first home game in Los Angeles.

National TV games

The Rockets, once again, will have quite a few national TV games this season. As an exciting team near the top of the Conference year-after-year, they are heavily involved on ESPN, TNT & NBA TV this season. The team will have 38 of their 82 games played in the spotlight, nearly half!

NBA TV

These games are the least valuable of the national TV games, as they are generally blacked out in the Houston area. However, if you are a fan of the Rockets outside of Houston, these are perfect for you!

They will be playing 10 games on NBA TV this year. Which ones they are, though, have yet to be revealed.

ESPN/ABC

The Rockets will have 15 games combined between ESPN and ABC. 10 for ESPN, 5 for ABC, to be exact.

The first two games of the year are on ESPN against the Pelicans and the Lakers. The team will have a Sunday afternoon ABC game against the Celtics on March 3. There will be a Western Conference Finals rematch against the Warriors in Oakland on ABC on February 23. The rest of the games can be seen above on the full schedule.

TNT

The Rockets will also have quite a few games on TNT. There will be 13 games nationally televised on that network.

Half of the four games against the Warriors will be on TNT on November 15 and January 3. Those are always exciting games to watch. Will DeMarcus Cousins be back by the 3rd of January?

Take a look at the rest of the games on TNT above, including the last game of the year against the Thunder on April 9.

Next. The Rockets will welcome Carmelo with open arms

We are ready for a great season! What month do you think will be the most fun to watch, aside from the playoffs?
