3. Jonah Bolden

Jonah Bolden is by far the most unknown player on this list, as the second-year forward has been unheralded. Bolden has already been waived, so there’s no need to speculate on whether this will happen or not.

At 6-foot-8,  Bolden has the size to be able to play center whenever necessary, and he could play either of the forward spots as well. The Rockets would be wise to take a flyer on the 24-year-old big man because he’d fit in as a big man in the small ball lineup.

On top of that, Bolden fits the mold of a 3-and-D player, which is exactly what the Houston Rockets need. The 24-year-old Bolden shot 35.4 percent from deep during the 2018-19 season for Philadelphia, and averaged 11.7 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 2.2 blocks per 36 minutes that year.

He also had a true shooting percentage of 59.5 percent that season as well, and was able to play 14 minutes per night for Sixers coach Brett Brown. It’s been a bit of a different story this season for Bolden, as he’s only played in four games for the Sixers, compared to eight games for the Delaware Blue Coats of the G-League.

Bolden has averaged 11.6 points and 6.9 rebounds per game for the Blue Coats, in addition to 35.6 percent from long-range this season. Bolden has also had a true shooting percentage of 64.7 percent as well. Another valuable skillset Bolden has is the ability to facilitate offense, as he’s averaged roughly three assists per game in the G-League as well.
