1. Hungry Superstar duo

One glaring weakness of this team would have to be the fact that James Harden and Russell Westbrook have yet to demonstrate their ability to win a championship. This will continue to get brought up with the talking head loser “analysts” all over the national media.

It’s fair to state facts, but you have to take all things into consideration. Ask yourself this… who is the best player James Harden has ever played with as a Rocket? There are two options: Chris Paul and Dwight Howard.

Both of these players had their best years prior to joining the Houston Rockets. Although they played well in the Space City, they simply weren’t as good in Houston.

This year marks the first time Harden has played with a fellow player who is in the prime of his career. With all of that being said, it is still cause for concern that neither one of these players have been able to lead their team to a championship.

Regarding the question that was initially posed: yes, this team is good enough to win the NBA title this year. Will they? That remains to be seen, but they have become a team that is gaining more and more momentum as the wins begin to pile up. What are your thoughts? We would love to hear from you. GO ROCKETS!!!
